Description
The Onkyo A-50 Integrated Amplifier combines maximum performance with modern connectivity and reduces distortion to a minimum. The patented DIDRC amplification system operates in symmetrical Class AB design with a three-stage inverted Darlington output stage and achieves 180 watts per channel into 4 ohms or 140 watts into 8 ohms. The amplifier delivers powerful, clear sound with the highest level of detail – exactly as the artist intended.
HDMI ARC, Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth ensure flexible use, while music from Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Amazon Music, QQ Music, TuneIn, Google Cast and Roon Ready integrates seamlessly into existing setups. A separate high-quality phono stage (MM/MC) with a premium phono terminal enables precise playback even from sensitive records, supports MM and MC, and ensures clear, nuanced bass and midrange reproduction.
The 5 mm aluminium front panel, fanless design and vibration-damping extrusion heat sinks minimise noise and resonance, while high-quality capacitors, a copper busbar and robust front panels protect signal integrity. The high-quality stereo DAC configuration further reduces distortion and creates a sonic foundation that is appreciated by hi-fi enthusiasts, musicians, home cinema and installation professionals alike.
Control and ease of use are provided by the Onkyo Controller or a proprietary app, which enables convenient remote control and integration into smart homes.
