Dirac Live is a room correction software that creates an acoustic model of the room in order to analyse the special features/influences of your own listening room, compensate for them digitally and thus improve the sound of the speakers. This allows you to achieve a larger sweet spot, accurate staging, clarity, speech intelligibility and a deeper, tighter bass. Dirac Live optimises the sound both at the frequency level and in terms of timing. This results in three key benefits: improved localisation of sound events (staging), better clarity and intelligibility for music and speech, and deeper and tighter bass without resonances throughout the listening area. Dirac Live can be fully customised to suit your taste.

The MAESTRO Quantum HiFi Internet receiver has an integrated licence (20 Hz to 500 Hz) for Dirac room correction, which is actually subject to a charge. To record the test signal from Dirac Live and start the automatic optimisation, a compatible microphone is required.
