The form of the seagull's wings, used by Kamome as their inspiration for the fans, makes for a barely perceptible sound, so you can work productively in the office, home office without any issues.

As gentle as a breeze

At 8.7 to max. 42 dB, Kamome fans are incredibly quiet. For the sake of comparison, 10 decibels is the equivalent of snow falling or breathing, 40 decibels is the equivalent of whispering.

Air circulation

Did you know that good air circulation helps prevent the accumulation of pathogens in the air? With continuous air circulation, Kamome ensures better air conditions and thereby also prevents a high concentration of viruses. So you can breathe easy.

Wind mode

The rhythmic wind mode imitates a natural, slightly irregular wind. This ensures there is optimal air circulation in the room, creating optimal conditions for you to work undisturbed at your workplace and fall asleep in your bedroom with a gentle breeze.

Inspired by seagulls

Nakashima Propeller Co., Ltd. developed a completely innovative ship's propeller inspired by the shape of a seagull's wing (in Japanese: kamome).

From ship propeller to fan

The shape of the ship propeller blade is able to operate with minimal strain. The new propellers can move ships between continents more efficiently and in a more environmentally friendly way. This design has now been transposed to the propeller of the Kamome fans. The soft blades of the propeller provide a gentle breeze for a peaceful undisturbed sleep.

THE TECHNOLOGY OF KAMOME FANS

ULTRA QUIET

Kamome distributes the air evenly in the room and pleasantly refreshes you whilst being as quiet as a whisper so you can enjoy the cool air in peace.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE

Kamome Living and Family have a removable centre pole so the fan height can be adjusted. It's easy to change from a stand fan to a table fan.

POWERFUL WITHOUT BLOWING

With a range of up to 17 m, Kamome distributes the fresh air throughout the room. The innovative design ensures that you don't feel like the air is blowing directly on you.

TIMER & AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF

The on/off timer can be set for 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. Kamome also stops automatically 12 hours after the last button press.

AROMA FUNCTION

Add a pleasant scent to your rooms. Just put a few drops of your favourite scent on the felt, insert the adapter and Kamome spreads the aroma throughout the room.

About Kamome

The Doshisha Group has been developing and manufacturing all manner of household appliances since 1974. Thanks to a cross-industry collaboration with Nakashima Propeller Co Ltd, the design of a revolutionary ship's propeller has been capitalised on.

Kamome's fans are the result of cutting-edge technology and researched knowledge from nature. In collaboration with Nakashima Propeller Co, Ltd, Kamome developed the soft blades that imitate the shape of a seagull's wings.
Inspired by the wing shape, the company developed a ship propeller with a novel form of blade that is able to operate with minimal strain. This allows ships to move between continents more efficiently and in a more environmentally friendly way.
